Stephanie Garcia MPH

Research Associate

Stephanie Garcia is a research associate for PolicyLab at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Ms. Garcia’s work consists of various maternal and child health projects, including a statewide needs assessment of home visitation programs, as well as a project with the March of Dimes assessing utilization of 17P, a form of progesterone, to prevent preterm births among eligible women in Philadelphia. 

Previously, Ms. Garcia worked at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health on an initiative supporting state Title V programs in implementing evidence-based maternal and child health programs and policies. She received her Master of Public Health in community health sciences, specializing in maternal and child health, from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her Bachelor of Science in community health from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
