New Briefs Highlight Two Pressing Issues Facing PA Families
Last year, PolicyLab collaborated with the Pennsylvania Office of Child Development and Early Learning to complete the 2020 Pennsylvania Family Needs Assessment (FSNA). This resource describes a wide range of social, environmental, and health factors impacting the well-being of children, families and communities in Pennsylvania.
Recently, the PolicyLab team behind this robust resource released new briefs based on findings in the FSNA to highlight two pressing issues facing the state’s children and families: housing and health and opioid use in pregnant and postpartum people.
The briefs drill down on data from the assessment and offer recommendations for Pennsylvania policymakers and other community partners and collaborators. Read more about this body of work here.
