Founded in 2021, the mission of PolicyLab's Visibility & Voice Committee (VVC) is to promote awareness of public health research through engagement, inclusive discussions and active community involvement. The VVC is comprised of passionate PolicyLab team members who create opportunities for learning, networking, and exploration while emphasizing the vital role public health research plays in promoting and improving communities.
This report details the VVC's efforts and impact, highlighting in-person and virtual events with students in the local Philadelphia community and beyond, and including the experiences of students and committee members in their own words.
