Zoe Bouchelle MD, MSHP
Zoe Bouchelle (she/her) is a faculty scholar at PolicyLab at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). She completed residency and chief residency at CHOP and completed the National Clinician Scholars Program at the University of Pennsylvania where she earned a Master of Science in Health Policy Research. She is now an attending pediatrician and researcher at Denver Health.
Dr. Bouchelle is passionate about engaging in practice-based and policy-focused research and implementation work that reduces the negative effects of poverty on the health and well-being of children and families. Her current work focuses on programs and policies that provide income support to families, including through tax credits, cash transfers and clinic-based financial services. She also conducts work on social needs screening and resource referral in the health care setting.
Dr. Bouchelle's prior work focused on the role of mobile health clinics in medically under resourced communities, care fragmentation for children in foster care and disparities in pediatric obesity. Dr. Bouchelle graduated Phi Beta Kappa and received her bachelor's degree in economics from the Pennsylvania State University and her medical degree from Harvard Medical School.
