Windy Grant MD
Windy Grant, MD (she/her) is an affiliate trainee at PolicyLab at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and a fellow physician in the Adolescent Medicine Program and the Leadership Education in Adolescent Health (LEAH) Program. She is also a Gail B. Slap Department of Pediatrics Endowed fellow.
Dr. Grant's areas of interests involve sexual and reproductive health, reproductive justice, medical education and advocacy. Her research interest centers on optimizing youth's sexual health experiences and increase awareness on STIs and HIV prevention, screening and management using entertainment-education videos in clinical spaces serving adolescents and young adults.
She recently joined the Center for Health Equity Community Translation Core and co-chairs the Alliance of Minority Physicians (AMP) Community Partnership Committee, contributing to community-based partnerships and mentorship initiatives for students underrepresented in medicine (URiM) to foster their interest in medical careers.
Dr. Grant received her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University and completed her pediatrics residency at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital.
