Sakina Adamali
Sakina Adamali (she/her) is a clinical research assistant at PolicyLab at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Sakina works with Dr. Danielle Erkoboni’s Literacy Lab team on various projects that aim to better understand and promote early literacy, learning and development across the community through initiatives that foster improved caregiver-child interactions.
Sakina graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in May 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a focus on early childhood education and developmental psychology. Prior work and internships with the Positive Psychology Center, Children and Screens, and Quality of Education & Student Life Organization (QESLO) and her research experience writing her thesis with Dr. Mackey at the Changing Brain Lab at the University of Pennsylvania helped strengthen her interest in the field of literacy, specifically in the early childhood population.
Sakina hopes to attend graduate school in the future and continue contributing to research and development of initiatives to promote early literacy and learning.
