Sabrina Darwiche MD, MPH
Sabrina Darwiche is an affiliate trainee at PolicyLab at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and a fellow physician in child abuse pediatrics at CHOP. Dr. Darwiche is interested in preventing child abuse by addressing social determinants of health. She is passionate about supporting families in meeting their basic needs as a means of facilitating a child’s health and safety.
Dr. Darwiche received a Bachelor of Arts in Asian and Middle Eastern Studies with a concentration in Arabic at Duke University. She received her medical degree at Duke University and a Master of Public Health with a concentration in maternal and child health at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her pediatric residency at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital of Oakland, where she was also member of the Pediatric Leaders Advancing Health Equity (PLUS) training program. She served as chief resident at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital of Oakland prior to joining CHOP.
