Pascal Beckert-McGirr
Pascal Beckert-McGirr is a clinical research assistant at PolicyLab and within the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He works with Dr. Alix C. Timko in the Eating Disorder Assessment and Treatment Program on several studies including the Shifting Perspectives 2.0 Clinical Trial as well as a study examining social processing in eating disorders.
Pascal graduated from Harvard University in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in government and psychology. He has previously worked as a research assistant in a lab studying social isolation and loneliness and in various government and political roles. Pascal plans to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology and is especially interested in equitable access to treatment and policy approaches to facilitating equitable treatment of eating disorders.
