Olivia Cicalese MS
Olivia Cicalese (she/her) is a clinical research project manager at PolicyLab and the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Ms. Cicalese is working with Dr. Ariel Williamson on a behavioral sleep intervention pilot study, which focuses on the implementation and adaptation of a behavioral sleep intervention in urban primary care for children ages one to five who have behavioral sleep problems.
Prior to joining PolicyLab and beginning her career at CHOP, Olivia graduated with a bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology in 2018 and received her master's degree in experimental psychology in 2019 from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia. During her time in school, Ms. Cicalese worked as a research assistant with Dr. Jodi Mindell and Dr. Williamson on a number of research projects regarding sleep and behavior in socioeconomically disadvantaged young children in urban neighborhoods. This experience has spiked her passion for helping children and families in disadvantaged areas receive quality behavioral health care. Her long-term professional goal is to pursue a doctoral degree in health policy and/or health care administration.
