Michael Luke MD
Michael Luke (he/him) is an affiliate trainee at PolicyLab at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), a pediatric hospital medicine fellow at CHOP, a fellow in the Pediatric Hospital Epidemiology and Outcomes Research Training program through Clinical Futures at CHOP, and a candidate for his Master in Health Policy Research at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Luke is interested in leveraging health systems to improve the socioeconomic infrastructure of surrounding communities through social support, policy change and violence prevention. His current work is focused on implementing and evaluating methods of addressing social needs for families admitted to the hospital.
Dr. Luke studied civil engineering at the Cooper Union, received his medical degree from the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and completed his residency in Social Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore.
