Jeremy Jones MD
Jeremy Jones (he/him) is an affiliate trainee at PolicyLab at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and a pediatric emergency medicine fellow at CHOP.
Dr. Jones’ research focuses on increasing access to care and promoting adoption of evidence-based high-value care practices while disincentivizing lower-value interventions. He is particularly interested in pediatric readiness, ensuring that community emergency departments are prepared to provide initial stabilization care for critically ill children. He is also interested in exploring how local, state and federal policy actions can create incentives that help to improve emergency care delivered in these non-pediatric centers.
Dr. Jones graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in public policy & leadership. He received his medical degree at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania with a certificate in medical education, followed by pediatrics residency training at CHOP where he completed an advanced skills certificate in health policy.
