Samantha Tavlin MA
Samantha Tavlin is a clinical research coordinator at PolicyLab and the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Ms. Tavlin is interested in community-based and participatory research, and currently works with Dr. Gwen Lawson to develop and test implementation strategies that support teachers’ use of behavioral interventions with students with symptoms of ADHD.
Prior to her current role at CHOP and PolicyLab, Ms. Tavlin worked as a trauma therapist with individuals impacted by sexual and community violence and also held various supportive roles in schools and community organizations. During her master’s at Drexel University, she studied how clinicians can use creative practices to identify their biases as part of an ongoing practice of cultural humility. In her free time, Ms. Tavlin does what her dog wants her to.
