Professor: Doctors Must Stand Firm on Vaccine Schedule
Dr. Kristen Feemster delivered the closing remarks at West Virginia’s sixth annual Immunization Summit on Wednesday. Dr. Feemster said a number of factors, including the rapid dissemination of information and “misinformation” on the Internet and the sharp decrease in vaccine preventable diseases, have caused a “distortion of risk” that has led some parents to view vaccines as more harmful than the diseases they prevent.
