PolicyLab Releases New Project Brief on Early Childhood Initiatives

The support that families receive throughout early childhood can lay the foundation for a child’s future health outcomes and a successful transition into adulthood, yet many families face significant challenges that can strongly influence a child’s opportunities for overall health and success. We developed a project brief that describes a number of key areas in which PolicyLab researchers are developing and sustaining programs and policies aimed at supporting young children and their families. This project brief outlines ongoing research that aims to promote early childhood language and literacy, support social-emotional and healthy development, and support caregivers’ health and parenting skills. You can find the project brief here and related research on early childhood here.
