Celebrating Pride Month by Amplifying Youth Voices

In honor of Pride Month, PolicyLab is sharing a new blog post featuring a conversation with Rylie Brown, one of the youth participants in Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Get Connected study—a project aimed at improving quality and access to gender-affirming HIV prevention care for transgender youth.

Rylie shares her motivation to become involved in HIV-related research, why it’s important for youth to be involved in this research and advice to researchers looking to engage LGBTQ+ communities.

We invite you to check it out today

PolicyLab has many additional resources aimed at supporting the health and well-being of LGBTQ+ youth, including our issue brief focused on ensuring a policy environment supportive of gender-affirming care for youth, a blog post describing ways we can support LGBTQ+ youth mental health in the wake of the pandemic and a blog post highlighting the opportunities telehealth provides for expanding support to transgender youth.
