At PolicyLab, fostering a work environment that values inclusivity and belonging is a core value. Our goal is to promote a culture where everyone feels welcomed, understood and valued.
We recognize that conducting impactful research requires a collaborative effort that is informed by many perspectives. We believe that each employee brings a unique worldview that contributes to the high quality of patient care, research and education for which Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and PolicyLab are renowned.

I'm proud to work at PolicyLab because this is a workplace that is committed to fostering an environment where every team member is valued, supported, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives and talents.

At PolicyLab, we're committed to engaging students and communities in public health research by creating opportunities for mentorships, job shadowing, internships and employment.
Throughout the year, we host events designed to introduce students to exciting career opportunities in the world of public health research. We welcome undergraduate and graduate students for networking and career exploration events and engage with local high school students to share the significance of evidence-based research in affecting change within communities.
Not only do these initiatives connect us more deeply to our communities, they also provide our team members with opportunities for professional development, further engagement within our center and participation in leadership roles.
PolicyLab's initiatives generated multiple internship opportunities for students interested in public health research, communications and health policy. We are delighted that several students have chosen to continue their journey at CHOP by accepting full-time employment offers.
