Swathi Raman MD, MPH
Swathi Raman (she/her) is an affiliate trainee at PolicyLab at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and a developmental & behavioral pediatrics fellow at CHOP. Dr. Raman is interested in improving access to developmental and behavioral care and cultural stigmas surrounding developmental disabilities. Her current research work examines mental health outcomes for autistic teenagers with signs of depression in the primary care setting. She also has a special interest in physician and medical trainee well-being.
Dr. Raman received her undergraduate degree in neurobiology and physiology with a minor in special education from University of Maryland, College Park. She has a Master in Public Health from George Washington University Milken Institute of Public Health and attended medical school at Ross University School of Medicine. She completed pediatric residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, after which she began her fellowship training at CHOP.
