Jordan Wood MPH
Jordan Wood (she/her) is a clinical research project manager at PolicyLab and Clinical Futures at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Ms. Wood supports both centers in studying and implementing best practices of health equity research methodology. She focuses on inclusion and representation in clinical research, interdisciplinary approaches to equity-focused projects, and stakeholder engagement across the research lifecycle. Additionally, Ms. Wood assists in examining outcomes of expanded child tax credit and care delivery interventions, such as tailored adherence incentives for high-risk children with asthma
Prior to joining PolicyLab and Clinical Futures, Ms. Wood was a project manager at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Center for Outcomes and Policy Research. She led intervention development for an EHR-integrated, mHealth symptom management application as well as the translation and cultural adaptation of oncology resources. Ms. Wood also contributed to health services and policy research examining inequities in opioid analgesic prescribing practices.
At the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Division of Maternal and Child Health Research and Analysis, Ms. Wood evaluated perinatal substance use and tobacco screenings. These findings and associated health communication materials promoted engagement with state cessation programs. She previously supported the National Institutes of Health RECOVER COVID Initiative and the innovative work at the CHOP Center for Childhood Cancer Research Section on Behavioral Oncology.
Ms. Wood received her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health.
