Daria Murosko MD, MPH
Daria Murosko (she/her) is an affiliate trainee at PolicyLab at Children's Hospital o f Philadelphia (CHOP) and a fellow in Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine at CHOP. Dr. Murosko is interested in how community-level factors, such as segregation and gentrification, influence racial and ethnic disparities in infant health. She is also passionate about educating health care professionals about the impact of structural racism and implicit biases on infant health.
Dr. Murosko received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry at the University of Maryland. She received her medical degree and Master in Public Health from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where she served as director of health services pipeline program for West Philadelphia high school students. She then completed residency in pediatrics through the Urban Health and Advocacy Track of the Boston Combined Residency Program at Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston Medical Center, and served as chief pediatric resident at Boston Medical Center.
