Maheen Bangash (she/her) is an affiliate trainee at PolicyLab and a child abuse pediatrics fellow at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Dr. Bangash's research interests include the prevention and treatment of technology-assisted child sexual abuse, addressing medical bias in cases of suspected child abuse, and the effects of trauma on pediatric mental and physical health. 

Dr. Bangash received her undergraduate degree in Biology with a focus on Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at the University of Kansas. She received her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency training at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
