Priya Shah, MD is a pediatric emergency medicine fellow at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), and an affiliate trainee at PolicyLab. She earned her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed her pediatric residency training at CHOP.

Her academic interests include education and legislative advocacy surrounding child injury prevention. She believes all children deserve safe spaces in which they can learn, grow, and play freely. From testifying before Philadelphia City Council, to publishing in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and The Philadelphia Inquirer, to delivering a TEDx talk, her work is helping shape conversations that impact the safety and well-being of children nationwide. Outside of work, she loves trying out new recipes, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her friends and family.
