An Pham MD, MPH
An Pham, MD, MPH (she/her) is a faculty member at PolicyLab at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), is an attending physician in the Craig Dalsimer Division of Adolescent Medicine at CHOP, and serves as an assistant professor of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Pham is dedicated to improving the lives of adolescents through health research and evidence-based medical practice. She provides specialized Adolescent Medicine inpatient and outpatient clinical care. Her research addresses current gaps to identify and support the diversity of eating pathologies that exist in adolescents, particularly minoritized youth populations with atypical presentations of disordered eating/eating disorders. She builds strategies that engage youth into her research and is dedicated to the integration of youth-engaged research to enhance rigor, facilitate bi-directional learning with youth communities, and contribute to capacity building of minoritized youth. She currently has a NIH K23 grant (K23MH134111) to develop and evaluate a measure of eating pathology specifically for transgender and gender-diverse youth.
