Jennae Reken DO
Jennae Reken (she/her) is an affiliate trainee at PolicyLab at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and a fellow within the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at CHOP. Her research interests center around health equity and improving access to autism diagnostic services as well as universal income programs and their impacts on child development. Dr. Reken is interested in policy-based solutions that can support autism diagnostic programs in primary care settings. Her current work is focused on evaluating CHOP’s pilot Primary Care Champions Program for Autism Diagnosis. This pilot work will explore the social barriers that family’s face when navigating community-based interventions. She is also passionate about creating neurodiversity-friendly community spaces for children and families.
Dr. Reken received her BS in Cell and Molecular Biology from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pa. She attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Missouri and served as an advocacy track resident and chief resident. Dr. Reken is currently getting her Master of Public Health at the University of Pennsylvania and completed the Integrative Medicine in Pediatrics residency at CHOP.
