Anna Costello MD
Anna Costello (she/her) is an affiliate trainee at PolicyLab at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and a pediatric rheumatology fellow at CHOP. She is currently enrolled in the Master of Science in Health Policy Research program and is a completing a Diagnostic Excellence Fellowship through the Society to Improve Diagnosis in Medicine. Through these programs, she looks forward to studying diagnostic delays in children with rheumatic disease to help guide quality improvement efforts to minimize the time to diagnosis for patients.
Dr. Costello completed her undergraduate and medical school studies at Brown University before coming to CHOP for her pediatrics residency. She served as a chief resident at CHOP and then worked as a pediatric hospital medicine attending before deciding to return to fellowship.
