Zoe Bouchelle MD

Zoe Bouchelle is an affiliate trainee at PolicyLab, an attending physician at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), and a postdoctoral research fellow in the National Clinician Scholars Program at the University of Pennsylvania where she is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Health Policy Research. She is also an associate fellow of the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Bouchelle's areas of interest include social determinants of health and how we can improve children's health and reduce health disparities through programs and policies that more effectively integrate social determinants interventions into healthcare delivery.

Dr. Bouchelle received her undergraduate degree in economics at The Pennsylvania State University. She then spent a year in Nicaragua working with a nonprofit organization that uses soccer as a vehicle for change in the lives of marginalized youth. Dr. Bouchelle received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School, where she conducted research aboard a mobile health clinic providing preventative care in medically underserved communities in Boston. She then completed pediatric residency training at CHOP, where she also served as a chief resident.
