William Drust MS
William Drust is a clinical research assistant at the PolicyLab and the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Mr. Drust works with Dr. Senbagam Virudachalam on an intervention known as Home Plate, which aims at improving family food preparation practices.
Mr. Drust earned a Master of Science in Science, Technology, and Society from Drexel University. Prior to joining CHOP, he also received extensive graduate training in sociology at Loyola University Chicago. Additionally, his past research involving robotic minimally-invasive surgery resulted in a forthcoming article in Sociological Focus. Mr. Drust’s primary research interests include science and technology studies (STS), medical sociology and qualitative methods.
