SolRubi Cortes is a clinical research assistant at PolicyLab at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Ms. Cortes works with Dr. Joanne Wood on a research study, titled PriCARE, which implements and examines the effectiveness of a parenting intervention aimed to improve children’s behavioral concerns, while reinforcing positive relationships.

Ms. Cortes is interested in promoting children’s emotional and behavioral health. Prior to joining at PolicyLab, she worked as a behavioral assistant aiding therapists in behavioral interventions. Ms. Cortes received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rutgers University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in school psychology.
