Clinical Research Coordinator

Michelle Reece (she/her) is a clinical research coordinator at PolicyLab and Clinical Futures at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Ms. Reece works on the Parenting with Depression (PWD) study led by Dr. James Guevara, which examines the use of a social media-based parenting program for women who are suffering from postpartum depression. 

Prior to joining the Parenting with Depression Study, Ms. Reece graduated from Drexel University and obtained her Master of Public Health with a concentration in health management and policy. There, she started to work at CHOP as a research assistant for the Clinical Futures and PolicyLab on the eCease study (The Clinical Effort Against Secondhand smoke exposure) under Drs. Alexander Fiks and Brian Jenssen.

Ms. Reece received her bachelor’s degree in political science and media communication at the University of Delaware, where she worked as a research assistant at the Disaster Research Center. There, she studied the impacts of environmental disaster on vulnerable populations and how policy can be altered to improve community resilience.
