Madelyn Good is a research assistant at PolicyLab and the Center for Perinatal and Pediatric Health Disparities Research (CPHD) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Ms. Good works with Dr. Scott Lorch and Ashley Martin, MPH on research projects regarding readmission risk of NICU and asthma patients, the American Healthcare Act, and pediatric trauma.
Prior to joining PolicyLab and the CHOP Research staff, Ms. Good graduated with her bachelors degree from Villanova University in 2017. While at Villanova University, she studied comprehensive science with focuses in global health and mathematics. During her time in school, Ms. Good studied public health in urban environments in Buenos Aires, Argentina. While abroad, she completed a research project regarding teachers’ perceptions of violence in secondary schools and gender based violence. Ms. Good is currently applying to graduate schools to pursue her Masters of Public Health (MPH).
