Lia Foster is a resource coordinator who assists researchers at PolicyLab and the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). As a resource coordinator, she provides wide-ranging administrative support to principal investigators and their research teams, handling scheduling, internal and external communications, travel coordination, expense reporting, office maintenance, technical troubleshooting and general support.
Ms. Foster previously held administrative roles in various industries before earning her BA in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. While studying at Penn, she acted as a research assistant and research project coordinator for a School of Social Policy and Practice study of a pilot behavioral intervention for medication compliance and well-being in HIV+ women of color. Her independent research capstone project was an exploratory study of relationships between trait mindfulness, emotion dysregulation and childhood trauma in an HIV+ population.
