Jungwon Min PhD, MS
Jungwon Min is a statistical scientist in the Healthcare Analytics Unit at PolicyLab and the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She has studied maternal and child health using life course approach and systems science methods funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Korea NIH, Korean Institute of Child Care and Education and researchers collaborating with the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
Dr. Min’s research focuses on child growth, obesity and chronic disease prevention in the U.S. and other countries such as South Korea, China, Taiwan and Italy in the perspective of gene-environment interaction, health perception and behaviors, social norms, secular trend, and health policy. She received her PhD and MS in Preventive Medicine from Ewha Womans University and her postdoctoral training in nutritional epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health.
