Jennifer Xu is a research data analyst at PolicyLab, Clinical Futures and within the Department of General Pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). She works with Dr. Barbara Chaiyachati on research aiming to understand child welfare and the connections between child maltreatment with mental and physical health. 

Jennifer received her bachelor’s degree in biostatistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Gillings School of Global Public Health. During her time at school, she worked as a research assistant for biomedical informatics research as well as a study on contractive access. Prior to joining CHOP, she worked at the Duke Clinical Research Institute, where she worked with real-world data generated from health care settings to generate evidence to improve health outcomes.
