Ellen McQuaid MPH

Clinical Research Project Manager

Ellen McQuaid is a clinical research project manager at PolicyLab and Clinical futures at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Ms. McQuaid works on the Opening Doors to Early Intervention (ODEI) Study, which aims to improve Philadelphia family’s connection to early intervention services through a patient navigation model, and the Parenting with Depression (PWD) study, which examines the use of a social media-based parenting program for women who are suffering from postpartum depression. Ms. McQuaid also oversees the success of any sub-projects associated with either of the randomized control trials. 

Prior to joining PolicyLab, Ms. McQuaid worked as a research assistant at CHOP’s Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment Center on a long-term research project focused on the outcomes of high-risk twin pregnancies. Ms. McQuaid also worked as a research assistant, while obtaining her Master of Public Health from Thomas Jefferson University, for Dr. Rosie Frasso assisting with qualitative research. Ms. McQuaid obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Shippensburg University.
