Elizabeth (Liz) Odunaiya MPH, CHES

Clinical Research Coordinator

Liz Odunaiya is a clinical research coordinator at PolicyLab at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Liz currently supports Dr. Sarah Wood’s research focused on improving access to sexual health services and prevention of HIV and STIs in adolescents.

Prior to joining PolicyLab, Liz worked as a research assistant in the Emergency Department at CHOP, where she screened and enrolled eligible patients in a number of clinical research studies focused on improving the health outcomes of all children in need. Before beginning her career in clinical research, Liz worked at the Department of Health and Human Services, where she led and supported health insurance operations and policy teams within the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Liz is also a trained birth doula and has a background in maternal and child health-focused initiatives where she provided pregnancy, birth and postpartum services to low-income families in Baltimore, Md.

Liz earned a Master of Public Health at Emory University with a focus on behavioral sciences, health education, and injury and violence prevention. Liz is excited about combining her interest in patient care and sexual and reproductive health through her work on Dr. Wood’s team.
