Clinical Research Coordinator

Ebere Uwah is a clinical research coordinator at PolicyLab and the Division of General Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). More specifically, she is working with Dr. Ariel Williamson on a research project titled, “Sleep in Primary and Specialty Care Services (Sleep PASS): A Model for Enhancing Primary Care Specialty Care Integration, Collaboration, Patient Outcomes, and Health Equity,” which aims to transform pediatric sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) care. This project provides sleep navigation support to families aiming to improve referral completion, patient outcomes and reduce SDB-related health disparities. 

Dr. Uwah received her MD from Windsor University and her MPH from Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. Before her MPH, she worked as a physician in medically underserved communities in Nigeria and supported various research projects. Dr. Uwah’s interests include health equity, community health, and health care quality and process improvement.
