Delitza Hernandez-Diaz MS
Delitza Hernandez-Diaz is a clinical research project manager at PolicyLab at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). She is currently working with Dr. Masha Gerdes on implementing the use of the LENA Start study, as the program is considered to be beneficial in helping families learn about new ways to encourage a positive language environment for infants and toddlers, as well as supporting families to increase conversations and vocabulary.
Ms. Hernandez-Diaz is interested in collaborating with community agencies to find ways to implement programs that bring resources and language-based knowledge to parents of infants and toddlers. Equally, she enjoys brining awareness to projects that focus on developing resources for immigrant children.
Previously, Ms. Hernandez-Diaz worked on the KiDDS study within the department of Adolescent Medicine at CHOP and the MATCH-C study at the University of Pennsylvania’s Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Informatics, which focuses on evaluating the impact of successful cure of hepatitis C on patients with HIV
Ms. Hernandez-Diaz completed her master’s degree in health administration at Saint Joseph University and her bachelor’s degree in business administration at Universidad Metropolitana de Puerto Rico.
