Deanna Marshall MPH

Research Associate

Deanna Marshall is a research associate at PolicyLab at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Her work focuses on mixed-methods maternal and child health research, including projects related to intergenerational family services and adolescent health. Recent projects include a statewide home visiting program needs assessment, prenatal care among immigrant women during COVID-19, systems-level supports and programs for families of young children impacted by substance use disorders and intimate partner violence, and COVID-19 school reopening guidance. 

Prior to her career in public health research, Ms. Marshall was a public school teacher in New Orleans, Louisiana and Denver, Colorado. She holds a Master of Public Health in Health Policy with a focus on maternal and child health from Drexel University’s Dornsife School of Public Health.
