Deanna Marshall MPH
Deanna Marshall is a clinical research coordinator at PolicyLab at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Ms. Marshall coordinates qualitative research on projects related to Pennsylvania’s home visiting programs and Philadelphia’s foster care system, among other intergenerational family services and adolescent health topics.
Ms. Marshall has experience with mixed-methods health policy research and program evaluation on the topics of immunizations, lead abatement and housing policy, adverse childhood experiences, home visiting programs, and teen intimate partner violence. In addition, she served as a Health Resources and Services Administration Title V maternal and child health intern at the Vermont Department of Health.
Prior to pursuing a career in public health policy research, Ms. Marshall was a math teacher in low- and mixed-income communities in New Orleans, Louisiana and Denver, Colorado. She holds a Master of Public Health in Health Policy with a focus on maternal and child health from Drexel University’s Dornsife School of Public Health, and received her bachelor’s degree in economics and international studies from the University of Missouri.
