Connor Mears is a clinical research assistant at PolicyLab and the Eating Disorder Assessment and Treatment Program at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Mr. Mears is the lead research assistant on the Shifting Perspectives study, which is a project aimed at increasing cognitive flexibility in adolescents with anorexia nervosa and their parents. Previously, he worked at the Child and Adolescent Mood and Anxiety Treatment (CAMAT) Program at the University of Miami, a lab dedicated to developing state-of-the-art psychotherapy for pediatric anxiety and depression. Mr. Mears is passionate about adolescent health and well-being, especially regarding new challenges the next generation is facing.
Mr. Mears graduated from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and plans to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology.
