Caroline La Rochelle MPH
Caroline La Rochelle is the policy and strategy senior associate at PolicyLab at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Ms. La Rochelle is responsible for managing several research portfolios by identifying opportunities for strategic growth. This includes the identification of policy opportunities and priorities, building strategic relationships and leveraging existing expertise.
Prior to joining PolicyLab, Ms. La Rochelle worked at the University of Pennsylvania Prevention Research Center. While there, she coordinated social service trainings for staff at the Free Library of Philadelphia, drafted a toolkit to support community organizations with quality improvement and supported several chronic disease prevention research projects. Prior to her work at the University of Pennsylvania, Ms. La Rochelle worked at the Philadelphia Mayor's Office of Education overseeing a grassroots information-sharing initiative in the Kensington area. As a volunteer, she also founded and directed a free music program for underprivileged youth. She is passionate about community-based participatory research, translating research into practice and effective policy, and furthering the well-being of children and families.
Ms. La Rochelle received her bachelor's degree in english from Allegheny College and her master's degree in public health from the University of Pennsylvania.
