Bianca Constant MSW, LSW

Community Implementation Specialist

Bianca Constant is a community implementation specialist at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Her current work focuses on developing a resource map to be used as a tool in addressing social determinants of health (SDOH), and connecting with community-based organizations as partners in utilizing this tool. Ms. Constant is involved in a number of SDOH projects within CHOP that tests the use of social needs screening as a way to identify the needs of CHOP's patients and families while also testing the effectiveness of the resource map to find resources that meet these needs.

Ms. Constant previously interned at PolicyLab as a social work graduate student. During her time as a PolicyLab intern, Ms. Constant supported the Intergenerational Services Portfolio in research concentrating on unintended consequences in documenting SDOH matters within pediatrics. Ms. Constant also supported efforts in the development of CHOP's medical-legal partnership, Family Justice Partnership—now holding the official role of program coordinator.

As a social worker, Ms. Constant has always dedicated her professional career to improving the well-being of children and families within the community. Her research interests include behavioral health, health equity, and implementation and evaluation.
