Amy So
Amy So is a clinical research coordinator at PolicyLab and the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Ms. So works with Dr. Jami Young on a study regarding the prevention of adolescent depression by implementing interpersonal depression prevention programs in school settings.
Ms. So graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. During her undergraduate career, she worked as a research assistant studying social anhedonia in young adults. She has also completed an internship with the Child and Adolescent Mood Program (CHAMP) at CHOP.
Ms. So is passionate about improving upon the efficacy and availability of interventions for preventing and treating mood disorders in pediatric populations. Her career goals encompass negating the stigma surrounding receiving mental health treatment, especially in underserved youth populations. She plans to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology.
