Leigh Wilson MSW, LSW
Leigh Wilson is a strategist and project manager at PolicyLab and the Division of Social Work at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where she manages a number of projects focused on bridging the gap between clinical and community settings. Ms. Wilson works with interdisciplinary teams across CHOP to develop and implement intergenerational interventions, including social risk screening and resource mapping, community health worker roles within primary and specialty care, and parenting support services. She is a trained facilitator of PriCARE (Child Adult Relationship Enhancement training within primary care).
Additionally, Ms. Wilson serves as the program lead for CHOP’s Multi-Partner Medical Legal Partnership (MLP), for which she works closely with legal and community partners to sustain and expand MLP services for families at CHOP. Ms. Wilson also provides strategic support for PolicyLab’s intergenerational family services portfolio as a member of the center’s strategy team.
Ms. Wilson’s experience in behavioral health and family-centered care are rooted in her work with families living in emergency shelter in Philadelphia. Prior to PolicyLab, she served as a Stoneleigh Emerging Leader Fellow at the People’s Emergency Center. Ms. Wilson received her Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania.
