Lanyu Mi MS

Biostatistician, Healthcare Analytics Unit (HAU)

Lanyu Mi is a member of the Healthcare Analytics Unit (HAU) at PolicyLab and The Center of Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). She has expertise in large healthcare database management, experimental design, statistical modeling and data analysis. She is experienced in database manipulation, performing statistical analyses, and developing reports through the use of SAS (Base SAS, SAS macro, SAS SQL, SAS/STAT, SAS/GRAPH). Additionally, she is skilled with PC SAS, Unix SAS, R, S-plus, Minitab and SPSS.

Her current project is focusing on the temporal relationship between intrafamilial violence, deployment, and serious mental illness in US army service members.

Lanyu Mi received a BS in Astronomy from Beijing Normal University and a MS in Statistics from Pennsylvania State University.
