Kavya Sundar is a clinical research assistant at PolicyLab and the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness (CPCE) at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). She is currently working on a feasibility study using technology and incentives to improve medication adherence among children with high rates of asthma hospitalization. Ms. Sundar also works in the Division of Adolescent Medicine, assisting with research focused on improving the health of adolescents living with HIV/AIDS and other marginalized youth including LGBT and homeless adolescents. Ms. Sundar has previously worked in HIV-related research at Johns Hopkins and the Baltimore City Health Department.
Ms. Sundar graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2016, with a BS in Community Health and a BA in Government & Politics. She is currently a post-bacc student at the University of Pennsylvania.
